Connecting your TikTok account to Polipics
1. What you need before starting
•A TikTok Business Account (Settings → Account → Switch to Business Account in the TikTok app). Personal accounts are not eligible for automated posting.
•Willingness to complete an OAuth authorization screen directly on TikTok.
2. How to connect
•Click Connect next to TikTok in Polipics.
•You will be redirected to TikTok to sign in and authorize permissions.
•Once authorized, you will return to Polipics automatically.
3. Two posting modes — know which one applies
•Direct Post: Content publishes directly to your TikTok profile.
•Upload to Inbox: Content is sent to your TikTok app drafts/inbox where you tap Post to finalize. This is a TikTok safety feature for certain account tiers.
Common Issues & Solutions
❓ "Cannot find Business Account option"
Update the TikTok app to the latest version, then go to Settings and privacy → Account → Switch to Business Account.
❓ "Posts land in drafts instead of publishing directly"
This is controlled by TikTok account verification level. Open the TikTok app to publish the staged video.
